Black Channa With Green Masala Recipe is a tasty and super delicious dish. It is easy to prepare and takes just about 30 minutes to make it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups black channa/Bengal Grams, soaked, boiled
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 6-7 curry leaves
- 2 tablespoon oil
For Green Masala:
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 2 green chillies
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Method: Black Channa With Green Masala Recipe
- Soak black channa overnight.
- Wash and pressure cook the same with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside.
- Blend together all the ingredients under green masala and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add cumin seeds and let it get brown.
- Lower the heat and slowly add the green chutney masala to the pan, be careful coz while adding this to the pan it gets splutter.
- Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste and cook until the oil separates.
- Add cooked channa and mix well with the masala.
- Serve hot with poori’s or parathas.
