Mutton Korma Recipe

Mutton Korma Recipe is a tasty and super delicious dish. It is easy to prepare and takes just about 30 minutes to make it.


  • mutton 1 kg
  • thick greek yogurt 2 cup
  •  fried onion 1 large (fried and crushed)
  •  oil 3/4 cup
  •  desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • almonds 20 (crushed)
  • cashew nuts 15 (crushed)
  • saffron 1/2 tsp
  • ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  •  garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  •  cinnamon stick 1
  • green cardamom 6
  • mint leaves 15
  • green chilli 4 (cut in two)
  • coriander leaves 1/4 cup

Method: Mutton Korma Recipe

  • in a bowl add yogurt, desiccated coconut, almonds, cashew nuts, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric, ginger & garlic paste mix well.
  • heat oil add green cardamom, cinnamon stick, meat and fry till changes colour, on high flame.
  • now add the yogurt mixture mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, on high flame.
  • add water 4 cups of water, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender.
  • then add fried onions, saffron, mint leaves, coriander leaves mix it cover and simmer for a few minutes till the oil comes on the surface.
  • serve hot with naan or roti.
